I am a research scientist at ETH Zürich, jointly affiliated with Ecosystem Management (EM) Group, at the Institute of Terrestrial Ecosystems (ITES), Department of Environmental Systems Science (D-USYS), and Interactive Visualisation & Intelligence Augmentation (IVIA) Lab, at the Visual Computing Institute, Department of Computer Science. I am co-supervised by Prof. Jaboury Ghazoul and Prof. Mennatallah El-Assady.

Prior to this, I obtained my Master degree in Computer Science at Department of Computer Science, ETH Zürich, with a specialisation on Visual and Interactive Computing. I obtained my Bachelor degree in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science at School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, where I worked with Prof. Diego Oryazún in Biomolecular Control Group.

My research interests lie at the intersection of visual analytics and social intelligence, with a focus on designing real-time interactive systems for analysing complex multi-party discourse. I am particularly interested in how visualisation and human-AI collaboration can surface latent patterns in conversation, such as evolving coalitions, alignment shifts, and argumentative structures, in ways that are both computationally tractable and cognitively manageable for human analysts. I am also working on human-AI co-adptive guidance visualisation toolkit for landscape intervention. More broadly, I am interested in low-resourced NLP and AI for social good, where I believe that computational technology should serve underrepresented communities, and that computational methods should be applied to problems with real societal and ecological stakes. I am keen on promoting AI literacy for all. I am also leading the project, AI Drivers License, supported by ICAIN, where I am designing metaphor cards to promote AI Literacy.
